Objective
- Getting used to the equipment and external influences, as well as the restricted range of motion with ski equipment. Walking, gliding, and ascending in gently rolling terrain. The aim is to build enjoyment and confidence, and to convey a safe and trusting feeling on skis.
Terrain: Flat or gently undulating terrain
Movement Description:
The skis are guided in a slightly open and parallel stance. The ankle, knee, and hip joints are slightly flexed, keeping the skier ready to move. The Middle Position and forward/sideward arm position support maintaining balance.
