Flat terrain, secured practice area, possibly a wide depression

Methodical Structure

  1. One-Legged Standing Exercises: Lift the board, move it vertically, edge it, turn it, etc.
  2. One-Legged Gliding: “Skateboarding,” figure-eight patterns, various playful tasks Two-Legged 
  3. Standing Exercises: Move vertically (up to jumps), shift weight (up to presses), edge the board (with partner), rotations, grabs (“basic freestyle”), etc.
  4. Two-Legged Gliding: Push and pull with partner assistance
